Ignite Fire Wire - Sept 8

Hey remember Further Seems Forever?  Yeah it's been a few years.  They formed back in '98 but disbanded back in 2006.  Chad Neptune of the band was quoted as saying of FSF: Sure maybe it was part of my calling but the truth is that making a family has been the goal ever since I can remember.  Well, as kids get older parents do get a bit more freedom.  In fact the Further Seems Forever website now says that coming in Spring 2011, the original cast of FSF will make their return.

After The Fold's fallout with Tooth and Nail and venture into indenpendence they recruited a new guitarist.  They did however keep it in the family.  Lead singer Dan Castady added a new guitarist to the mix.... his little brother George.  It feels like one of those feel good family moments on an episode of Full House.

This past week we were teased with a trailer to The Almost's new music video for No I Don't that involves a sad sad Teddy Bear, it begins to beg the question what does this song mean?  Well Aaron Gillspie from The Almost took some time to explain exactly that:

The boys with mullets or as you may know them Abandon Kansas have been hard at work writing some new material.  That's not the only good news though.  Tim from House of Heroes let it slip on Twitter that he'll be lending his voice to at least one of the new tracks that Abandon Kansas will be recording for their next record.  No word yet on whether or not Tim will grow a mullet to truly be a member of the band.
