So Switchfoot is doing a contest right now to remix their song Afterlife.  First place (as chosen by Switchfoot) scores some sweet swag.

• A pair of Ultimate Ears 18 Pro Custom in-ear monitors, valued at $1,350.
• Global exposure for their remix which will be promoted on Switchfoot’s social media channels including Soundcloud.

For runners-up, here are a few.

Youth Pastor Joe Kendrick and Youth Intern Kyle Wilson (@kdubbtweets) joined the Hype this morning.  For the 5 challenges the first challenge was redeemed when Joe forgot to bring the Filipino dish Balut BUT he did go and get dog food for Mike (Mike refused to eat it). 

The next challenges were not as kind to Joe.  He failed the Bible or Balderdash challenge from his Senior Pastor Gerry Michalski (Proverbs 20:30... look it up, memorize it).  He also failed the Wife challenge answering only 1 of 3 questions correctly.  The Gas Game was a gong show (apparently Joe's wife does the shopping).  

However Joe did manage to get a picture with a 7-11 attendant in under 7 minutes.  So 2/5 isn't bad... it's kind of like a Jets record.

Here's what Joe and Kyle won to give away at Boom Youth tonight.

Abbey is a "Yellow Lab" .. at least according the Humane Society but it's obvious to see that there is so much more to this girl.  Jill contact us and needs our help to get some DNA testing for her puppy.  Currently a dog from Ontario is in first but Abbey is only a few hundred votes behind.  You can vote for Abbey every single hour.  Voting ends at Midnight tonight so let's show some Friendly Manitoba love and give Jill a hand.

Sometimes instructions get lost in translation.  I found this one after buying an Ottoman that was on sale at Superstore.  Some of the highlights are:

"At least every 4 mouths, check all bolts..."
So I should be wary of the 1 in 4 people that eat the bolts?

"If parts are missing, broken, or worm, stop use of this product untill repairs are made."
Wait there might be WORMS in my ottoman?!!

And my personal favourite:
