Sometimes songs can take on a whole new meaning, tone, emotion when a few things happen.  Either a) when somone else sings it or b) when the band unplugs the guitars and drums and any other electronic device and uses their voices and talent to share the heart of the song.  

 

Thats why Fireflight have done with He Weeps.  An amazing version of such a fantastic song.  Check out the video below and let me know what you think!

 

 

Letters are cathartic.  Sometimes just sitting down and writing out how you feel puts life into perspective.  Sometimes it lets you know who you really are.  Sometimes it reveals things you wish you never knew about yourself, and new knowledge that helps you learn and grow as a human being.

 

When his beloved dog Kona passed away, singer/songwriter Alex Woodward received 4 letters in the mail that would forever alter his life.  Inspired by this communication Alex realized that 'some letters are like prayers' and it inspired him to create an amazing project of love that evolved into a book, then an album and finally a concert event.  

 

Switchfoot vocalist Jon Foreman got involved on the project.  For The Sender is an amazing love letter of inspiration and a tale of how 4 letters, 12 songs can unite us all in one story.
