The Return of Brodie Smith - Real or Fake? |
|
Last year Brodie Smith made a name for himself. Kristin actually posted a blog about his INSANE frisbee skills. Well, much like T-800, he's back with another video of some INSANE frisbee trick shots. Some I can believe, but some seem a little far fetched. Email your thoughts at

It gets bettter, check out the video of the guy unwrapping this creation. I'm sure theres one extremely proud mom in Japan right now!

I must say, walking across the parking lot barefoot today was a very chilly expierence. If you didn't know today is One Day Without Shoes is an initiative started by TOMS Shoes . Toms is a for-profit organization based out of Santa Monica California that wants to maintain a for-profit status while still being socially responsible. Their method is to give a way a pair of shoes to a child in need with every pair of shoes that are purchas ed.
This year is the 5th annual One Day Without Shoes and globally people will choose to go one day without the comfort of shoes to bring awareness to an often overlooked problem. Going without shoes causes one to take extra caution and care with each step that they take during that day.
TOMS started back in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie after visiting Argentina and noticing an unnoticed epidemic. Children in Argentina don’t have shoes, but not just in Argentina, in many other countries world wide. An estimated ¾ of billion children live without shoes.
Having shoes in North America is a novelty but for billions around the world it’s the protection from injury and disease. Blake had an idea to sell shoes and with every pair sold he would give a pair to a child in need. One for One. Since then over 1 million pairs have been given out.
So join us me and hundreds world wide as we bring awareness to this epidemic that is often overlooked. You may be saying to yourself that your feet aren't the most beautiful but until you've seen mine you have nothing to compalin about.
