Hey everyone! Tonight I took the Summer Sun Outlander to Kilcona Park Alliance Church for their big event called Summer Fest! They had a great turn out and it was a beautiful night- not a cloud in the sky! The grounds at Kilcona are HUGE so there was lots of space to play volleyball, ultimate frisbee and they even had pony rides! Another highlight of the night was "Sons of Zed" played a set of some rockin' familiar tunes! In case you were wondering, that IS Ignite's own Kristin Bailey doing sound for them in the picture! Joining me tonight was my brand new Summer Sun sidekick: Sizzlin' Sammy!

I was at my table giving out freezies and ONE lucky listener got a CD from The Color! We also had a lot of entries for our Dream of a Lifetime contest, so one of those listeners will win a ticket to ride! We even had a couple dunk tank participants come and fill out a ballot, I felt bad for them, apparently the water was freezing! 

Unfortunately I wasn't able to stick around longer, tonight also kicked off Kilcona's summer drive-in movies! Tonight they were playing Real Steel on a big screen in their parking lot, I'm sure it would be a lot of fun! Luckily they do one a month for the rest of the summer so I'll hopefully be able to make it out to another drive-in movie!
