Ignite Night @ Splatters Highlights :)

It was a VERY muddy night at Splatters Paintball last night but it was oh so glorious. We played until the Splatters staff said we were not allowed to play anymore because it had gotten too dark. Which makes sense.. we were at that point just firing randomly cause it was so hard to see anyone.

Oh, one highlight here - Summer Events guy Jon Chapmann wanted to get shot with a paintball live on-air. Here is the result...

Rob Bell FB Ticket Winner Entry!

You could tell that Tim really wanted to go see Rob Bell. His entry was incredibly creative. However, his friend Brianne also wanted to win tickets just to surprise him and I'll be honest, I wanted to give them to her. Tim's entry was so good that I wanted him to also have the surprise of going.

But I had to give it to Tim... why? Because his entry was that good. Well done Tim.

Even if you're not a fan of Dragonball Z this vid is most definitely worth watching. One of the Dragonball Z trademarks is the 'wind-up' for the throwing of a fireball or (Kamehameha). So in Christchurch, New Zealand they held a competition of who could make the audience believe they were going to conjure one.

No matter how many times I watch this, I'm impressed/shocked/confused at the pure nerdiness/seriousness with which it is taken.

Have you met Aelea? While Eric and I did our best to review the show, when it comes to concerts Aelea is in her element. I'm more of a coffee shop kind of guy. Living off $1 / day for 5 days

As part of hundreds of others out at Riverwood Church Community, I have taken on the challenge of eating less than $1 / day for 5 days straight. It is being called the 5 Day Solidarity Challenge.

Every day we are restricted to eating ONLY 1 cup of cooked rice, OR 1 cup of cooked beans, OR 1 cup of cooked oatmeal. No spices, no flavour, no sugar, no milk, no gatorade.
